Engineering Manager, AI and Infrastructure

Job Description

Merge is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their automation engineering team. This team is crucial for developing tools that simplify the development, testing, and monitoring of Merge’s core integration product. The Engineering Manager will foster a culture of quality and growth within the team, which consists of 6 engineers.

• Own and manage a core engineering team of 6.
• Grow the team through hiring and career development.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams.
• Build and grow the team's roadmap.

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of experience managing and hiring engineers.
• Experience managing a high-performance team in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with technologies like Django, Python, React, Postgres, SQL, AWS, RDS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience planning team roadmaps.
• Ability to balance priorities and work cross-functionally.
