Insurify, recognized as one of America's fastest-growing MIT FinTech startups, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Sofia. The company is the largest online insurance distribution and comparison platform in the USA and aims to be the preeminent and most trusted digital agent for insurance comparison, purchase, and management. The Senior Frontend Engineer plays a critical role in achieving this vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop new features in collaboration with the product team.
  • Optimize existing features using modern development techniques to enhance speed and reliability.
  • Write comprehensive test suites to fortify the codebase.
  • Deploy to production frequently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience building frontend applications using a contemporary web framework (like React).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (React, NodeJS, Gatsby).
  • Understanding of modern CSS techniques.
  • Good knowledge of http(s) protocol.
  • Experience in analyzing code performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, AWS, and Python is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (both writing and speaking).
