Precision Medicine Group is seeking a SharePoint Engineer to support a global organization. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Costa Rica. The SharePoint Engineer will be a key contributor in the administration and support of the company's M365 collaboration infrastructure, with a focus on SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive administration.Role involves:
- Analyzing and improving SharePoint permission structures.
- Optimizing sites according to Microsoft modern architecture best practices.
- Providing governance reports to management.
- Documenting processes.
- PowerShell scripting for efficient tenant administration.
- Capacity planning and lifecycle management of the SharePoint environment.
- Working with help desk technicians for resolutions to escalated tickets and training on new features.
- Working with security operations to maintain proper security posture.
- Migrating workloads end-to-end from on-premise to cloud or cloud to cloud using ShareGate.
- Reporting on cloud licensing and resource utilization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and its products, focusing on SharePoint and Teams.
- 2+ years of migrating SharePoint content libraries using tools such as Sharegate or equivalent.
- Experience with AvePoint tools and services a plus.
- 2+ years of modernizing permissions around M365 content for least privilege access.
- 2+ years of automation around M365 processes.
- 2+ years migrating on-premise workloads to M365 and cleaning up stale data post migration.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin centers.
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, Graph API, Power Platform.
