Harbinger Motors is seeking an Intern, Quality Engineering to join their Quality team. This role is based in Garden Grove, CA. The intern will support the Quality Engineering team in ensuring that products and processes meet both internal and external quality standards. This internship provides hands-on experience in quality assurance practices within a manufacturing or engineering environment and offers the opportunity to build valuable experience at a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
Role involves:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production processes and implement quality control measures.
- Support the Supplier Quality Engineering team in evaluating and auditing supplier processes.
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and quality validation of incoming materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
- Help manage and maintain quality documentation.
- Support quality training and awareness initiatives.
Requirements:
- Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Basic understanding of quality control methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
