Job Description
Sony Santa Monica Studio, under the PlayStation brand, seeks a QA Lead (Contract) to bolster its internal projects on the PS5 platform. This role is pivotal in facilitating direct development team support, operational test planning, and execution. The QA Lead will oversee internal and external QA operational testing services, ensuring effective test support and accurate results for development and production teams.Responsibilities include test plan administration, risk communication, team training, and balancing support requests with process improvements. The role requires a deep understanding of the Santa Monica Studio development pipeline and commitment to SMS values.
  • Planning, execution, and communication of QA Master Test Plans
  • Managing project databases
  • Providing test services
  • Communication and QA support directly with the production and development teams
Requirements include a strong work ethic, 3+ years in a Senior Test Analyst role, experience shipping AAA titles, and knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Minimum 3 years in Senior Test Analyst or equivalent position
  • Experience shipping at least 2 AAA titles
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Exceptional organizational skills
