Senior Gameplay Capture Artist

PlayStation is seeking a Senior Gameplay Capture Artist to join their team in Montreal, Canada. This role is a 6-month contract position.

As the Senior Gameplay Capture Artist, the candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting visually stunning and immersive gaming experiences and capturing them for use in gameplay trailers and other video assets. They will work closely with the Creative Arts team to ensure assets maintain the highest standards of visual excellence, showcasing the unique features and aesthetics of every project.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director/Capture Director, and Producer.
• Operate an in-game debug camera and utilize various debug controls.
• Capture high-quality gameplay footage for various PlayStation titles.
• Help to choreograph shots in the game.
• Optimize visual quality.
• Provide constructive feedback on gameplay footage.
• Meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Gameplay Capture Artist in video game capture or a related field.
• Proficiency with video capture software and hardware.
• Solid understanding of video game debug controls and in-game debug cameras.
• Knowledge of Cinematography Principles.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• A deep love for video games.
