Lead Environment Artist at PlayStation Global

Housemarque is seeking a Lead Environment Artist to join their team in Helsinki, Finland. The Lead Environment Artist will work closely with art teams and external partners to drive the next evolution of Housemarque games. They will shape and execute the project’s vision for Environment Art, lead and mentor a team, and optimize workflows for collaboration.

The Lead Environment Artist will play a key part in bringing Housemarque’s unique and creative environments to life in cutting-edge 1st party Sony games.

Role Involves:

• Establishing a cohesive visual vision for the project.
• Setting quality standards and benchmarks.
• Solving complex development challenges.
• Collaborating with leadership to establish workflows.
• Mentoring and coaching artists.
• Supporting external development.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as an Environment Artist in AAA games.
• Experience leading a team of 5–15 professionals.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Passion for innovation and game art.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
