Sumo Logic is seeking a Partner Sales Manager to focus on partner development opportunities with key partners, such as AWS, SIs, MSPs, Consulting organizations, and VARs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, responsible for the overall success of the partnerships, including enablement, GTM initiatives, and sales opportunities. The Partner Sales Manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management and serve as the focal point for technical alliance partners.Role involves:
  • Identifying, recruiting, and operationalizing new Partner organizations.
  • Building a regional Partner business plan with quantified goals and milestones.
  • Developing a comprehensive regional Partner map.
  • Enabling sales and technical cross-training of Sumo Logic’s solutions.
  • Managing assigned regional Partners to agreed sales goals.
  • Maintaining and reporting an accurate sales forecast in SFDC.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in software Enterprise Sales & Partner development.
  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software or SaaS to Fortune 1,000 companies.
  • 5+ years of experience developing a Partner ecosystem within a SaaS model.
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand, develop, and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Direct experience creating and executing Partner business plans.
  • Comfortable operating in a start-up environment.
  • Fluent in German and able to speak English.
  • BA/BS degree required. Technical competence strongly preferred.
