Head of Platform at saas.group

saas.group is seeking a commercially minded technical leader to head its Platform Team. The company, established in 2017, focuses on acquiring and developing B2B SaaS ventures. This role is business-critical, aiming to reduce friction, enhance developer experience, and accelerate engineering teams.

The Head of Platform will launch a scorecard system, accelerate engineering velocity, drive AI and automation, and serve as a strategic partner for cloud infrastructure. The role involves leading and mentoring the Platform team, developing and executing a yearly roadmap, championing zero-trust security principles, and overseeing the optimization of key tools.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Platform team
• Develop and execute a yearly roadmap
• Champion zero-trust security principles
• Oversee the integration and optimization of key tools
• Partner with acquired brands to address infrastructure challenges
• Define and track platform performance through KPIs
• Drive the adoption of open-source solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of work experience in a demanding environment
• Top University Degree in STEM or business
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-first approach
• Outstanding Stakeholder Management skills
• Proven experience leading platform or infrastructure teams
