Senior Fund Accountant - Implementations at Carta

Carta is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Implementations team in Rio de Janeiro. The Implementations Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting new Fund Administration customers as they transition to Carta's services. The candidate will act as a liaison between the Sales and Fund Accounting teams, managing onboarding activities and ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Liaising between Sales and Fund Accounting teams for new fund clients
• Interacting with fund's back office to collect historical accounting data and provide advisory support
• Booking and reconciling accounting books and records from unstructured client data
• Resolving data migration and accounting discrepancies
• Managing all aspects of customer onboarding, including timelines and compliance procedures
• Building strong client relationships and providing a white-glove experience
• Identifying process improvements and assisting with internal reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in Venture Capital Fund Administration
• Strong accounting analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build client relationships and manage multiple clients
• Passion for growing and advancing with Carta
• Proven internal influencer with project management experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
