Job Description
Carta is seeking a Senior/Strategic Account Executive to join their Private Equity Fund Administration team. The ideal candidate will introduce top-tier clients to Carta's product offerings, including Fund Administration, portfolio management, reporting and analytics, investor management, investor portal, valuations, and data collection. This role involves selling consultative access to Carta's team of fund administration accountants who support funds reporting needs. The Account Executive will also work closely with new PE funds, advising them on best practices and connecting them with relevant vendors.
Role involves:
- Communicating the business impact of Carta's product offerings.
- Demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Owning sales cycles up to 12 months.
- Understanding customer needs and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Building and expanding a network across the industry.
- Driving revenue through strategic outbound prospecting.
- Developing a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Participating in industry events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5 - 10+ years of Fund Administration sales experience.
- In-depth understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, or Real Estate).
- Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts.
- Proven negotiation and closing abilities.
