(Senior) Data Scientist at DATAPAO

DATAPAO is seeking a (Senior) Data Scientist to provide consulting expertise to its EMEA and US-based customers. The role involves project planning and delivery, data science and AI consultancy, internal solution development, and wider organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading or participating in scoping engagements and designing high-level architectures.
• Delivering projects independently or within a mixed DS/DE team, often as a technical lead.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery.
• Providing ML/DS consultancy to technical teams for EMEA customers.
• Recommending solutions leveraging Databricks or native cloud features.
• Conducting workshops to enable clients on these platforms.
• Working on internal solution development and research initiatives.
• Developing Data Science and Machine Learning courseware.
• Providing technical pre-sales support.
• Mentoring other members of the data science guild.

Requirements:

• Strong consultant mindset and passion for customer experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead data science projects.
• Problem-solving skills and ownership.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Solid software engineering foundations.
• Strong Python knowledge.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Advanced knowledge in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in any deep learning framework.
• Good knowledge of data visualization tools/libraries.
