FinCrime Operations Lead, EMEA at Aspire

Aspire is seeking a FinCrime Operations Lead to oversee operational performance in the EMEA market. This role involves leading the Financial Crime 1LoD for Fraud & AML topics, including Know Your Customer, Transaction Monitoring, and Screening. The candidate will collaborate with Team Leads, Analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure excellent operations and meet success metrics.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing FinCrime Ops performance in the EMEA market
• Collaborating to ensure teams meet key success metrics
• Analyzing operational data to identify trends and improvements
• Refining and defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for KYB, Transaction Monitoring, and QA teams
• Handling market escalations
• Supporting global expansion by ensuring operational systems and processes scale efficiently
• Working cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, Tech, and other internal teams
• Acting as a bridge between FinCrime Ops teams and the Operations Transformation function

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years experience in Fraud, transaction monitoring, AML, Compliance, or Operations roles in a FinTech or regulated financial institution
• Strong understanding of KYB, Fraud, Transaction Monitoring, and QA functions
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and FATF recommendations
• Experience supporting global operations and/or scaling processes in multiple markets
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
