The EHS Manager at Harbinger Motors Inc. will be responsible for providing environmental health and safety technical support to the company. This role involves suggesting modifications to enhance worker safety, conducting safety training programs, and utilizing tools to educate employees, all aimed at minimizing accidents.
What the role involves:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive environmental health and safety programs.
- Conducting risk assessments of work areas, equipment, and processes.
- Delivering training programs on safety procedures and emergency response.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Investigating accidents and near misses to determine root causes.
- Overseeing the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintaining emergency response plans and procedures.
Who are we looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum bachelor's degree preferred in occupational safety, health or other related scientific disciplines.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds with ease.
