Job Description
SpotOn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Labor Management Systems team. The candidate will play a vital role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that optimize labor scheduling, tracking, and management for clients in the retail and hospitality industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the technical vision for an engineering team.
  • Contributes to the design and development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.
  • Create innovative solutions using the latest technologies and tools for front end development and backend development.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.


Requirements:
  • Strong foundational knowledge in computer science.
  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Javascript/Typescript, React, MySQL, Kubernetes, Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
