Job Description

SpotOn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I (Android) to join their team in Krakow, Poland. This role involves working within a Scrum methodology in a strong Android team, contributing to projects that adhere to clean architecture principles, SOLID principles, and various design patterns. The engineer will utilize MVVM/MVI architecture and work with a multi-modular project, employing technologies such as Koin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.

The Senior Android Engineer I will be responsible for independent development, taking ownership of tasks within a complex system. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a strong Android team using Scrum.
  • Work on projects following clean architecture, SOLID, and design patterns.
  • Use MVVM/MVI architecture.
  • Work with a multi-modular project.
  • Utilize frameworks like Koin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
  • Independently develop and own tasks.
  • Work on a complex system with multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent Android development experience.
  • Fluency in Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
  • Good knowledge of Android SDK.
  • Experience with payments.
  • Knowledge of libraries like Koin, RxJava, Retrofit, Room, Coroutines.
  • Experience with object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
  • Good knowledge of Android application architecture patterns.
  • Ability to debug and profile applications.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (min. B2 level).
  • Experience in small teams and with version control systems (Git preferred).
