SpotOn is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Krakow, Poland. SpotOn helps restaurants and small businesses compete and win with flexible payment and software technology. This role involves modifying existing software to implement new features, correct errors, and improve performance. The Software Engineer will collaborate with systems analysts, developers, and programmers to design systems and ensure quality improvements. They will also participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
The role involves:
- Modifying existing software

Requirements include:
- 2+ years of experience with modern Python
- Experience in at least one Python framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Experience with CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of Python idioms and design patterns
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Understanding end-to-end software delivery
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2 level)
- SQL and NoSQL Database skills
