Yext is seeking a Customer Advocate to join the Hearsay team, now an integral part of Yext, in Manila, Philippines. This role is not a sales position. The Customer Advocate will focus on assisting existing customers in utilizing software marketing tools to achieve success.

The Customer Advocate will manage their own set of contacts and be responsible for driving their product usage, collaborate with team members, identify solutions for customer queries, act as a liaison between customers and engineers, and serve as the internal voice of the customer. They will also coach customers on the value of Yext products and become an expert on Yext Systems.

What this role involves:

  • Take a hands-on approach to drive end-user engagement of product features through education/training.
  • Manage your own set of contacts and be responsible for driving their product usage.
  • Collaborate with your team to share best practices.
  • Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate customers having.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and engineers on specific product issues.
  • Become an expert on how customers use our product and serve as an internal voice of the customer.
  • Coach customers on the value of Hearsay products.
  • Provide a best in class service experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant customer service/support experience
  • Excellent teammate with a positive attitude and a strong sense of self-direction
  • Proactive and willing to initiate conversations
  • Resourceful and creative
  • Clear communication skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Persuasive with the ability to build trust
  • A general interest in finance/personal investing
  • Basic understanding of social media, texting, and other communication channels
  • Amenable to working between 9:00PM to 9:00AM Manila Time
