ALU is seeking a highly motivated individual for a finance role, referred to as "Rock Star Radar." The role involves managing finance queries, escalating invoicing and refund issues, maintaining customer relations, assisting in debt collection, and providing general support to the Finance Team. The ideal candidate should embody ALU’s core values, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage finance queries via a ticketing system.
  • Escalate invoicing, credit notes, and student refund queries.
  • Maintain excellent working relations with finance customers.
  • Assist in debt collection.
  • Send statements of account to students and follow up on payments.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Team.
  • Adhere to ALU’s safeguarding policy.

Requirements:

  • Accounting-related degree and/or at least level 1 of ACCA/CPA (or equivalent).
  • Basic understanding of finance processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of G-Suite, Excel, and accounting software (advantageous).
  • Proactive, good communicator, and self-starter.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams and under tight deadlines.
