ALU is seeking a Senior Associate for Health Ecosystems (HECO) to support health leadership programs, research initiatives, and funding mobilization efforts for health institutions in Rwanda. The Healthcare team at ALU is dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes in Africa through innovation, collaboration, and impact. This role involves program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and data management.

The Senior Associate will work with public and private healthcare institutions, donors, healthcare executives, and policy organizations to align program outcomes with national healthcare goals. They will also track and report program performance metrics and prepare reports for funders.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of fellowship programs.
  • Support the implementation of the Hospital Scoring Index.
  • Collaborate with ALU’s business school to implement MBA health specialization and executive education programs.
  • Engage with public and private healthcare institutions to promote the adoption of leadership programs and scoring index initiatives.
  • Coordinate partnerships with donors, healthcare executives, and policy organizations.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities and knowledge-sharing events among healthcare leaders.
  • Track and report program performance metrics.
  • Prepare periodic reports for funders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership development, healthcare policy, or public health program coordination.
  • Experience working with health institutions, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with leadership training programs and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
