Archer Aviation is seeking a Head of Flight Operations & Pilot Training to join their Support and Training Team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role involves supporting Archer Midnight Entry Into Service in the UAE in 2025. The Head of Flight Operations will report to the Director of Pilot Training- Archer Air and be part of a high-performing team which provides the technical field support for Archer products and services. He is responsible for Flight Operations & pilot Training policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient airline operation and ensure coordination with corporate policy and procedures. The Head of Flight Operations & pilot Training is responsible for compliance and conformance with regulatory and internal policies derived from GCAA and international standards.Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all UAE Flight Operations-related activities and communications.
- Establishing and implementing UAE safety objectives.
- Developing Flight Operations policies and procedures.
- Supporting the production and validation of aircraft systems.
- Conducting safe and effective flight training.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing Flight Operations budgets and resources.
Requirements:
- Hold an airline transport pilot certificate.
- Have at least 5 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market
- Ability to work legally in the UAE.
