Planet is seeking an Account Executive to expand its Government sales in Germany and Poland's Defence & Intelligence sectors. This remote role, based in Germany, involves growing Planet’s the Government sales pipeline and book of Planets business in Government Intelligence, Defense and National Security institutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in helping grow Planet's governmental sales.
  • Develop sales pipelines to achieve targets
  • Collaborate with the Government Sales and Marketing teams
  • Prospect, build relationships, and close deals
  • Manage contracts and government procurement
  • Ensure customer onboarding and relationship growth
The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record in government sales, fluency in German, and a deep understanding of commercial imagery value.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
  • Experience finding and winning business with Government customers
  • Fluency in the German language
  • Deep understanding of commercial imagery in supporting the work of the D&I user
  • Excellent relationships across German/Polish Government and the partner ecosystem
  • 5+ years of related experience in geospatial software, imagery or technical sales required
  • 5+ years of experience selling to government customers
