Job Description
Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician. The technician will install, test, and support aircraft flight test instrumentation systems. He will build and maintain fly-by-wire aircraft, perform maintenance, and assist in creating policies and procedures. Archer is dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment.
What the role involves: - Installing, testing, and supporting aircraft flight test instrumentation systems.
- Building and maintaining fly-by-wire aircraft.
- Performing maintenance, repair, modification, installation, and testing tasks.
- Assisting in creating Flight Test Instrumentation policies and procedures.
- Building and installing harness assemblies, strain gauges, DAQ systems, and accelerometers.
- Maintaining good record keeping of all work performed
Requirements: - NCATT AET or A&P Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry and aircraft maintenance.
- Previous Flight Test Instrumentation experience.
- Hands-on experience with fly-by-wire aircraft and high voltage systems.
- Knowledge of wiring techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Offer: - Targeted base pay between $32.30- $40.38 per hour.
