Accounting Manager at AXS

AXS Germany, GmbH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Hamburg. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for handling ongoing accounting tasks and supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The manager will also assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses, reconcile general and subsidiary ledgers, and clarify open items.

Role involves:

• Handling ongoing accounting tasks
• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assisting in creating budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses
• Reconciling general and subsidiary ledgers
• Clarifying open items
• Monitoring changes in legal regulations and accounting standards
• Preparing and submitting advance tax returns
• Handling bank reconciliations and ensuring cash flow

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training or studies, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting
• Several years of professional experience in finance/accounting (accounting), controlling, as a tax assistant, or in comparable activities
• Solid knowledge of MS Office or Google, knowledge of accounting software is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of the relevant accounting regulations (e.g. HGB, IFRS)
• Ability to work independently, precisely, and in a structured manner
• Analytical thinking and a high degree of personal initiative
• Strong affinity for numbers and IT
• Very good organizational and communication skills
