Remote is seeking an Accountant to join their Finance, Tax & Accounting team. Remote is focused on keeping finances healthy and straightforward, which means managing risks, making smart money moves, and guiding strategic choices with solid financial insights. The Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting Remote's growth and ensuring financial readiness in its global operations.
Role involves:
Posting transactions in SAP
Closing & reconciling sub-ledgers: AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, Intercompany
Recording and reconciling payroll for various countries
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements (VAT returns, Statutory Financial Documents, CIT returns)
Performing analysis and contributing to other projects as requested
Providing support in statutory close and Financial Statement preparation
Requirements:
Post qualification accounting experience
EMEA timezone is required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Experience using core finance systems (SAP or similar is a bonus)
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good financial analysis skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Good time management and ability to meet constant deadlines
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Fluent English
