Remote is seeking a Payroll Risk and Compliance Expert for the Eastern Europe region. This role involves ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with wage tax laws and social security regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll operations, risk identification, and process improvement.Remote is a company focused on solving modern organizations’ biggest challenge – navigating global employment compliantly with ease.Responsibilities:- Conduct risk reviews of payroll files.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Prepare audit findings reports.
- Monitor regulatory climate.
- Provide support and training on compliance matters.
- Strong Legislation expertise in the Eastern Europe region
- Experience in a senior payroll role
- Understands the approach taken by local authorities
- Experience in making recommendations for process improvements
- Proficiency in data manipulation (eg sql, Excel)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Fluent English and local language
