Job Description
SpecterOps is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Consultant to join their Consulting Services team. In this role, the consultant will function as an operator, trainer, and program developer. The consultant will work within the Adversary Simulation service line, focusing on offensive assessment services for large commercial enterprises. This includes red team assessments, penetration tests, defensive capability tests, and specialty security assessments. The consultant will also support internal offensive programs, deliver training courses, and contribute to research and development efforts.
The role involves both onsite and offsite work in diverse environments, ranging from developing toolsets to briefing executives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical and soft skills, be well-organized, and self-directed.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting offensive engagements
- Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Building scripts, tools, and methodologies
- Serving as a subject matter expert
- Utilizing common offensive security testing tools
- Staying up to date with adversary tradecraft
- Interfacing with clients professionally
- Assisting with scoping engagements and mentoring staff
- Training team members and contributing to training courses
Requirements include:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25% annually)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check

- Expertise in one or more service lines and/or technical areas
- Ability to lead and execute offensive security service offerings
- Experience leading small teams and engagements
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Experience communicating with clients and delivering presentations
- Willingness to develop and deliver training content
- Willingness to mentor and train fellow consultants
