Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation of industrial equipment. This role involves performing mechanical adjustments, preventive and corrective maintenance, and adhering to industrial safety standards. The technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment efficiency and supporting production needs.Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures.
- Conducting mechanical adjustments to improve equipment performance.
- Ensuring adherence to industrial safety standards.
- Operating forklifts for maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Monitoring equipment performance and recommending improvements.
- Developing and updating preventive maintenance documentation.
- Managing critical spare parts inventory.
- Collaborating with Manufacturing and Design Engineers.
- Upholding 5S principles for workplace organization.
- Being available for weekend and off-shift work.
- Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated machinery.
- Understanding of industrial safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
