Job Description
Harbinger, an American commercial electric vehicle company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift. This role involves leading the maintenance team, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance operations during the second shift at Harbinger.
What this role involves:
- Leading and supervising the second-shift maintenance team.
- Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting system failures.
- Ensuring adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Managing spare parts inventory.
- Collaborating with engineers to enhance equipment performance.
- Enforcing 5S principles.
- Mentoring and training maintenance staff.
- Monitoring KPIs and generating reports.
- Maintaining accurate records using CMMS software.
- Communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Providing leadership in emergency breakdown situations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with team leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience using CMMS software.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and root cause analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
