Distribution & Maintenance Tech

Job Description

West Cancer Center is seeking a Distribution & Maintenance Technician. In this role, the individual will manage receiving, inventory, and distribution at their assigned location, while also performing basic maintenance and assisting in facility operations. The technician will ensure a safe and functional environment by responding quickly to facility needs and maintaining strong organizational skills.

Role Involves:
• Receiving, stocking, and distributing deliveries
• Assisting with offsite clinic functions
• Setting up lobby areas for seminars and symposiums
• Collecting and preparing biohazard waste
• Performing basic maintenance and repairs
• Responding to emergency maintenance issues
• Coordinating with maintenance vendors
• Escorting vendors and emergency personnel
• Delivering food and supplies
• Assisting with setting up and relocating satellite offices
• Transporting items to and from storage
• Providing coverage at other locations

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of six months of related experience
• Experience in facilities or maintenance preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Valid driver’s license
