Job Description
Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in London, UK. This role focuses on expanding Whatnot’s supply by acquiring and nurturing new livestream sellers, specifically targeting the German-speaking market (DACH). The Account Executive will manage their own portfolio, overseeing the entire sales cycle from initial pitch to onboarding and strategic coaching. They will be expected to consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management.
Role Involves:
- Deeply understanding Whatnot's sales process.
- Becoming an expert on how SMBs can scale their business with Whatnot.
- Sourcing and prospecting sellers.
- Leading sales calls, overcoming objections, and communicating Whatnot’s value proposition.
- Closing sellers and onboarding them onto the platform.
- Utilizing data to assess seller growth and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with internal partners to develop business growth strategies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
- Fluent German and English speaker with a deep understanding of the DACH market.
- Passion for Whatnot's mission and the needs of its communities.
- Scrappy and flexible attitude to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling and closing deals, with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
