Job Description
Whatnot is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their Infrastructure team. This role involves driving incident management and stability efforts, working across Infrastructure and Product teams. The Technical Program Manager will partner with leadership to strengthen Whatnot’s security and quality.
Role Involves:
- Driving the Infrastructure engineering roadmap.
- Prioritizing key technical initiatives.
- Identifying and delivering efficiency improvements.
- Developing processes to improve capacity needs.
- Communicating roadmap progress to stakeholders.
- Ensuring the engineering team operates effectively.
- Driving strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Experience building roadmaps and project plans.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Entrepreneurial drive.
- Startup experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Must be within commuting distance of San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY hubs.
