Product Designer, Discovery

Whatnot is seeking a Product Designer to join its Discovery Team. This role is pivotal in helping users discover products they love through features like Search, Ranking, and Content Discovery. The Product Designer will collaborate with engineering, product management, and data science teams to create solutions that improve the shopping experience and personalize user interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Design user-centric solutions for product and content discovery.
• Use data insights to iterate on designs and improve engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Lead the design lifecycle from research to execution.
• Maintain and evolve the design system.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design initiatives.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Deep understanding of UX design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and content-driven discovery.
