Job Description
Whatnot is seeking a Staff Product Designer to focus on seller experience. The role involves reshaping the seller experience through optimizing workflows and developing solutions that enable seller success. The Staff Product Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to other designers.
What the role involves:
- Developing and executing design strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Designing tools to empower sellers and enhance productivity.
- Advocating for a seller-centric design approach through user research and testing.
- Creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to streamline seller workflows.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to other designers.
- Advocating for best practices in design, usability, and accessibility.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in product design.
- Experience with enterprise-level solutions, e-commerce, tooling, and complex workflows.
- Portfolio showcasing design skills and product impact.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Understanding of user experience design principles and testing methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
