Job Description

The Radiation Therapist role at an unspecified company involves administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by their physician. Requirements:

• Completion of a formal education program in Radiation Therapy accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist - R.T.(T) ARRT.
• State license or Temporary Permit in accordance with regulations in the state where work is performed.
• Basic knowledge of radiographic and radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).
