Radiation Therapist - PRN and Full Time - Paris/Dyersburg

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments to patients, adhering to established standards and practices. This role at models appropriate behavior and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Role Involves:
• Providing radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate patient treatment records and technical parameters.
• Managing resources such as supplies and equipment.
• Planning work and completing job responsibilities efficiently.
• Demonstrating professional work behavior and excellent customer service.

Requirements:
• Completion of a formal education program in Radiation Therapy accredited by ARRT.
• Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist - R.T.(T) ARRT.
• State license or Temporary Permit in accordance with state regulations.
• Basic knowledge of radiographic and radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).
