The Financial Times is seeking a Reporter for Ignites Asia, responsible for covering the asset management industry in Asia. The role involves researching and writing original articles, generating story ideas, building a network of sources, and moderating webcasts and video interviews.

Role involves:
- Covering the asset management industry in Asia.
- Researching and writing three to four original articles per week.
- Generating original story ideas.
- Building and cultivating an extensive network of sources.
- Moderating webcasts and video interviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience covering the asset management industry and/or financial markets in Asia.
- Strong contacts within the industry.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel within Asia.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
