The Financial Times is seeking a Reporter for Ignites Asia, responsible for covering the asset management industry in Asia. The role involves researching and writing original articles, generating story ideas, building a network of sources, and moderating webcasts and video interviews.

Role involves:

• Covering the asset management industry in Asia.
• Researching and writing three to four original articles per week.
• Generating original story ideas.
• Building and cultivating an extensive network of sources.
• Moderating webcasts and video interviews.

Requirements:

• Proven experience covering the asset management industry and/or financial markets in Asia.
• Strong contacts within the industry.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel within Asia.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
