Job Description
West Cancer Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join their team on a PRN basis. The CT Technologist will operate imaging equipment to conduct procedures tailored to the patient population. The technologist will exemplify appropriate behavior as outlined in West Cancer Center's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Role Involves:
- Performing quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
- Effectively managing resources such as supplies and equipment.
- Planning work and completing job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.
Requirements:
- Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
- Certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
- Must have CT certification within 18 months of date of hire.
- BLS is required.
- New graduates of an accredited program without ARRT will be accepted and must obtain certification and registry within one year of graduation date.
