TheFork is seeking a Head of Software Architecture to shape long-term architectural standards and drive cross-functional alignment. The role reports to the Platform Engineering Director and collaborates with DevOps, Quality, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and the CTO office.Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the architecture team to uphold technical coherence and security standards.
  • Define and implement a scalable technical strategy across software, cloud, and data architectures.
  • Support data architecture initiatives, ensuring support for data lake and warehouse solutions.
  • Champion enterprise architecture practices to support scalability, security, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Product, Data Science, DevOps, and Engineering.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and quality, promoting continual learning and improvement.
  • Animate transversal teams and facilitate transversal initiatives and communities/guilds.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in software, cloud, or data architecture.
  • Proven leadership skills (5+ years) in managing technical teams.
  • In-depth cloud knowledge (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Data architecture proficiency and experience in designing scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset with success working with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Strategic and solution-oriented.
