Senior Machine Learning Scientist (User Modelling/ Representation Learning) - Viator at Tripadvisor

Viator is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join their Representation Learning team. This role focuses on embedding latent representations of entities across Viator's platform to understand user behavior in multi-touch fragmented journeys. The scientist will work on Knowledge Graph Embeddings, Auto-Encoders, Attention mechanisms, and more, to represent Users and Experiences in a common latent space, with applications across various downstream tasks.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, coding, experimenting with, and implementing models and algorithms.
• Collaborating with product managers and business stakeholders.
• Investigating and adopting innovative concepts.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience.
• In-depth knowledge of AI/ML/DL and statistics.
• Strong skills in SQL and at least one programming language.
• Experience in deploying online solutions and analyzing real-time results through A/B testing.
• Leadership qualities and team collaboration skills.
• Clear communication skills.
