The engineering team is distributed across Europe and is responsible for Viator's website, mobile apps, and supporting infrastructure. This role involves working closely with product managers and designers, participating in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
The Software Engineer II will primarily focus on front-end development, with occasional back-end projects. Viator is using stack that includes Java, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and runs on AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with product managers and designers.
- Participating in software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Working on both front-end and occasional back-end projects.
- Releasing code to production regularly.
Requirements:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with full-stack development concepts.
