TheFork is seeking a Sales Representative in Amsterdam, Netherlands, to champion restaurant culture and connect restaurants with diners. The role involves managing a designated pipeline, making outbound calls and visits, negotiating terms, and closing new business. The Sales Representative will consultatively position TheFork's distribution platform, engage with prospective customers, and overcome objections. They will also represent the brand professionally and achieve monthly sales targets.

The Sales Representative will collaborate with sales operations, supplier support, and account management teams. They will also engage with destination marketing organizations and attend trade events. The role requires determination, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What this role involves:

  • Managing designated pipeline
  • Making outbound calls and visits F2F
  • Negotiating terms and closing new business
  • Consultatively positioning our distribution platform
  • Achieving monthly sales targets

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably with an online company
  • Native Dutch with good level of English
  • Restaurant/F&B Distribution to HORECA channels/hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Territory and pipeline management experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Results-driven hunter mentality
