Job Description
TheFork is seeking a Sales Representative in Amsterdam to champion restaurant culture. The role involves managing a designated pipeline, making outbound calls and visits, negotiating terms, and closing new business. The Sales Representative will consultatively position TheFork's distribution platform, engage with prospective customers, and represent the brand professionally. They will also achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, collaborate with internal teams, and attend trade events as needed.
What this role involves:
- Managing designated pipeline and making outbound calls and visits F2F.
- Negotiating terms, including rates and margins, and close new business.
- Consultatively position our distribution platform and value proposition.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably with an online company.
- Native Dutch with a good level of English.
- Restaurant/F&B Distribution to HORECA channels/hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proven record of contracting new business and regularly exceeding sales targets.
- Territory and pipeline management experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Results-driven hunter mentality.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision.
- Confident and energetic; flexible and adaptable; organized and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
