Paystack is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive their go-to-market strategy in South Africa. The role is an individual contributor position focused on executing outbound sales campaigns and managing the full sales cycle across various sectors. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and achieving an annual quota.

Role Involves:

  • Drafting and executing territory and pipeline reconciliation plans
  • Managing the sales cycle from pipeline generation to close
  • Receiving qualified inbound opportunities and taking ownership
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Reporting pipeline and sales activity data in a CRM
  • Supporting product development and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in Payments or technology
  • Quota responsibility and a track record of top performance
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions
  • Ability to build a book of business and deliver on quarterly and annual targets
  • Strong ability to drive sales engagements in a fast-changing environment
  • Able to build trust and credibility with prospects
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in technology
