Associate Director, Business Development and Implementation - UPI

Job Description

PhonePe is seeking an Associate Director for Business Development and Implementation - UPI, to be based in Bangalore. This role involves leading the implementation and business development for all UPI-related products within the PhonePe consumer app. The candidate will fully own and grow the relationship with the Payment Network (NPCI), Bank Partners, and any third party involved in building out UPI products on PhonePe.Responsibilities include:

• Leading implementation and business development for UPI products.
• Owning and growing relationships with NPCI and bank partners.
• Designing product constructs and go-to-market plans.
• Driving implementation of projects and features.
• Liaising with various departments to close agreements and deliver products.
• Creating frameworks for product/partner selection and presenting updates.
• Managing complex product compliances.
• Defining and executing operating plans while managing a team.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in the payments domain.
• Understanding of UPI from a product or business perspective.
