Altana is seeking a dynamic professional for a Business Development, Federal role. This role involves establishing and maintaining productive relationships between Altana and several U.S. Federal entities. The individual will play a vital role in shaping and winning new deals, fostering collaboration, understanding government needs, and aligning their solutions with mission-driven objectives. This strategic approach and expertise in navigating the public sector landscape will contribute to the overall success
Role involves:
- Building a cohesive, data-driven strategy within the Federal market.
- Developing and maintaining close working relationships with stakeholders.
- Serving as a leader for existing and future programs within the Federal team.
- Working cross-functionally with account managers, marketing, government relations and engineering.
- Leading initiatives that move the organization forward.
- Delivering on financial performance commitments and building strategic market growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant acquisition, business development experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Federal acquisitions.
- Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, requirements generation, and budgeting.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders.
- Excellent writing, communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers.
- Ability to travel 25-75% of the time.
- Must be eligible to obtain and hold a US Security Clearance.
