Box is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their team in Warsaw for the Summer of 2025. The intern will be fully integrated into one of Box's engineering teams, contributing to a summer project that directly impacts the product roadmap. Box is the market leader for Cloud Content Management,

What this role involves:

  • Building and completing a coding project.
  • Pairing with a Software Engineer mentor.
  • Attending team meetings and participating in agile practices.
  • Participating in intern events and programming.
  • Writing and reviewing quality code.
  • Representing Box Poland internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • A 3rd year Computer Science/IT-related undergraduate student (expected graduation date is 2026 at the latest).
  • Currently based in Warsaw or ready to move for the internship period (July - September 2025).
  • Ability to proactively assess, communicate, and complete project milestones.
  • Passion for solving complex problems using data-driven solutions.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Knowledge of the tech stack is preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn additional coding languages such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python, and Scala.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with distributed teams in different time zones.
