Box is seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead its Box Apps team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves leading, inspiring, and mentoring engineers, bridging communication between the US and Poland engineering hubs, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The Engineering Manager will spearhead technology initiatives and oversee the entire lifecycle of projects across multiple architectural layers. The Box Apps team focuses on an intelligent no-code builder that empowers businesses to create custom applications.

Role involves:
  • Leading a team of experienced engineers in Poland.
  • Defining the team's roadmap and execution plans.
  • Developing team members through 1:1s and career planning.
  • Building a collaborative and inclusive team.
  • Organizing stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Collaborating with product teams to scope new features.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a software engineering manager.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with full-stack web applications and/or distributed systems.
  • Experience with agile processes.
  • Proficient in English.
