Box is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its engineering team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves working on Box Apps, an intelligent no-code builder that empowers businesses to create custom applications. The Senior Fullstack Engineer will contribute to shaping the future of content management. This role requires to be in assigned office minimum of 2 days per week.

What this role involves:
  • Implementing server-side logic and database interactions using Java.
  • Creating and maintaining APIs for seamless communication between systems.
  • Collaborating with designers to ensure a user-friendly experience.
  • Participating in code reviews.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
  • Maintaining documentation for development setup and engineering environment.
  • Composing written specifications and documentation for software projects.
  • Participate in the production on-call duties rotation with the team members

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining full-stack solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React.js, Java 17, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with public cloud systems such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (preferred).
  • Experience with messaging infrastructure - RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar technologies (preferred).
  • Ability to review and assess technical feasibility of project requirements.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
