Box is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Warsaw, Poland. The role involves maintaining and developing the web platform, participating in architectural discussions, and implementing frontend initiatives. The engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to create and implement solutions, ensuring the platform's availability. They will also represent Box Poland internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the team in the US to onboard and learn current responsibilities
- Attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning/retrospectives, team meetings, and manager 1:1s
- Maintaining one or more legacy codebases
- Providing input in implementing standards across all product teams at Box
- Participating in production on-call rotation with team members
- Representing Box Poland internally and externally
- Creating technical requirements
- Participating in tech design reviews
- Contributing to cross-team technical initiatives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience working with legacy codebases
- Proficient in English
- Problem-solving skills across different technologies
