Box, a leader in Intelligent Content Management, seeks an experienced Release Manager to serve as a Go To Market Salesforce DevOps Engineer. This role focuses on optimizing integration, deployment, and continuous delivery processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. The Release Manager will collaborate closely with Salesforce development and operations teams to ensure efficient releases aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities: - Supporting Salesforce deployments using Copado for CI/CD.
- Implementing best practices for Copado, including setting up pipelines, managing user stories, and automating deployments.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient deployment pipelines and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Leading and coordinating release management activities, ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and execution of Salesforce releases.
- Developing and maintaining release schedules, identifying release dependencies, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Overseeing the coordination of pre-release testing, validation, and post-release monitoring.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of release cycles, highlighting any risks or challenges.
- Continuously evaluating and improving DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the release pipeline.
- Automating manual processes wherever possible to minimize errors and speed up the release cycle.
- Resolving deployment issues and providing ongoing support for production environments.
- Performing root cause analysis for release failures and proactively address recurring issues.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, specifically with Copado for CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce Release Management.
- Hands-on experience in Release Management within a Salesforce environment.
- Proficiency with Copado, Salesforce development tools, and deployment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD practices, and other DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce environments such as Sandbox, Development, and Production.
- Knowledge of Version Control systems and experience with GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of Salesforce security, permissions, and data management best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
